There seems to be something in the Wankhede air that has visitors bristling these days. The latest to be left unhappy is not a player or owner, but Ebba Qureshi, wife of Kings XI Punjab all-rounder, Azhar Mahmood.

Qureshi, who was at the Wankhede to cheer her husband's team on Monday, took to the social networking site, Twitter, to complain about not being provided proper seats to watch the match, which the Mumbai Indians won.

“I have never experienced such an unorganised and pathetic hospitality by a home team who couldn't manage to get us seats especially with kids,” she tweeted.

“We 1stly were pushed & shoved in public! We were promised a box esp with kids & they have us seats in the stand where kids couldn't breathe... The whole of kingsxi management and families of players have walked out of the stadium & aggravated by this so called Mumbai team mgmt,” she said.

Mumbai Indians management explained that the franchise was not responsible.

“We gave this quota to the Kings XI team also and had given the same to other teams. It is up to the respective teams how they distribute their tickets. We would never do something like this, after all the families of our players also travel with the teams,” he added.
