Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat in a pre-World Cup warmup game against Bangladesh on Tuesday at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.
The game is co-host Bangladesh's final practice before the World Cup opener on February 19 in Dhaka between it and hot favorite India. Pakistan plays England later this week in a warmup before its first match on February 23 against Kenya in Sri Lanka. Each team named 15 players, but with only 11 entitled to bat or field, enabling them to maximize practice opportunities. Bangladesh's batting lineup was unchanged from the XI that trounced Canada last week.
