Sources told PTI that Pakistan board delegation that met ICC Chairman David Morgan and Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat in Dubai this week had conveyed the protest over the shifting of the World Cup matches.

"The PCB delegation which included chairman Ejaz Butt, COO Saleem Altaf, director general Javed Miandad and some governing council members made it clear they were not happy with the ICC decision which they felt had been taken in haste without giving consideration to the far reaching effects it could have on Pakistan cricket," one source said.

He said one PCB official had pointed out that while the ICC and other countries were willing to accommodate the Indian board despite security issues the same concern and compassion was not shown to Pakistan cricket.
