Graeme Smith and S Sreesanth had a heated exchange when the Indian apparently made a comment, and the South Africa skipper responded in similar vein, even jabbing his bat at him.

SA spinner Paul Harris said it was some personal remark from Sreesanth that made Smith respond.

“I know Sreesanth has said a few personal things on the field and we cannot condone that. It must have been personal for Graeme to have reacted the way he did.”

Laxman, however, said, "It's just not about Sreesanth making some comments. Even their bowlers came hard on us and had a few things to say."
