When Dwayne Bravo smashed Sreesanth for two big sixes in an over on Tuesday night at Centurion and followed it with a four, Kings XI Punjab captain Yuvraj Singh had nowhere to hide. Yuvraj simply looked away and adjusted his field.

Standing at mid-off was the highly experienced Brett Lee, who had no words to say except to fetch the ball and flick it back to Sreesanth.

Sreesanth’s cup of woe overflowed was he misfielded at the boundary to let the ball cross the rope. It was not a night when things went well for Sreesanth. The 26-year-old was called an “over-rated bowler” by Chennai Super Kings’ Matthew Hayden last week. Sreesanth, coming back from a stress fracture on his lower back, has given away 10.69 an over in the 13 overs he has bowled. He, however, received some encouragement from his coach Tom Moody on Tuesday night.

“Sreesanth has been bowling well in patches. Every game except for this game against Mumbai Indians, he has been excellent in his first spells. On Tuesday night, Bravo was on a roll and it was disappointing for him and for the entire team,” said Moody.

Sreesanth went for 21 runs in the only over he bowled on Tuesday.
