Starting advancing of final arguments in the case in which six alleged HUJI terrorists were arrested for conspiring to kidnap the cricketers, the prosecutor cited the chargesheet and said "the plan could not succeed as the accused could not get logistic support in time to execute their design."

The prosecutor claimed before Additional Sessions Judge Pinki that the terrorist outfit was formed by Pakistan national Maulana Masood Azhar, a terrorist who was freed by India in exchange of passengers of hijacked Indian Airlines aircraft IC-814.
