The Bengal player, who suffered the injury during practice on Tuesday, is likely to fly back home but the team management is not looking for a replacement.

"He possibly won't be available for the ODI series," Captain Rahul Dravid said on the eve of first of three ODI against Banlgadesh.

Dravid had words of encouragement for the youngster.

"I am sure we will see a lot of him in the near future," he said. "I am sure he will get through the phase and make a comeback very quickly."

Dravid said both Tiwary and the team felt disappointed at the development.

"It's very disappointing and we feel sad for the youngster. It's not a happy situation.

"It's sad for a young kid who has come to play his first match, to get such an unfortunate injury."
