On Tuesday, the Australian launched the Advanced Hair Studio (AHS) in the Capital. Incidentally, this is the brand for which the Rajasthan Royals captain faced a probe by the British advertising industry.

In May 2006, when Warne was promoting the AHS, the British Advertising Standards Authority investigated the matter in “relation to an illegal celebrity endorsement of medical services”. Warne had responded by saying, “There’s only one thing that worries me, and that’s hair loss.”

He again emphasised on the positives of the treatment. “I have tried the treatment and the result validates my experience,” Warne said.

Apart from Warne, Ravi Bopara, Michael Vaughan, Martin Crowe, Graham Gooch and Doug Bollinger endorse AHS.

Warne, who endorses brands ranging from cars to online betting, also spoke about Sachin Tendulkar. He reiterated that the Mumbai Indians’ captain was the best batsman he has bowled to, but added that the bit on he getting nightmares about the Indian were said in jest. “That was a joke. He is the best batsman of my time and I’ve enjoyed the challenge of bowling to him, but I am not scared of him.”
