It seems that Shah Rukh Khan enjoys the same kind of popularity in South Africa as he does in India.
On Tuesday, as he entered the stadium, a few girls shouted in unison, "We love Shah Rukh" and earlier at the KKR hotel, a large number of local mediapersons had gathered at the gates to catch a glimpse of the Indian star. His photographs were splashed across all the major local newspapers on Tuesday.
