Virender Sehwag’s birthday wishes are hilarious. And he has maintained the tradition for India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel, who turned 32 on Thursday.

The baby-faced Patel has played 23 Tests, 38 ODIs and two T20Is but Sehwag gave a very funny reason on why the Gujarat Ranji Trophy captain should be playing for under-19 team, and it had a lot to do with his physical features.

And to top it off, Sehwag used the image of a kid in the dress of ‘Shaktimaan’, a fictional Indian superhero.

“Happy Birthday Dear Nikke urf Chota Chetan @parthiv9 . May you keep shining and remain so nanha munna that you can play in u-19 for lifetime,” he tweeted.

A few days back, Sehwag similarly mocked New Zealand player Ross Taylor on his 33rd birthday, using the batsman’s nick name as a pun.

“Happy B’day @RossLTaylor .You have stitched some of the best ptnship’s for NZ Taylor ji ,but these are the guys who need your help the most,” he wrote.

Despite facing heavy flak for tweeting on Gurmehar Kaur, a Delhi University student who expressed her opinion on India-Pakistan relation, Sehwag’s humorous and slapstick hasn’t taken a beating it seems.
