Woolmer's case: Coroner gets papers

Meanwhile summons have been sent to potential jurors for a coroner's inquest in the murder of the Pak coach.

Coroner Patrick Murphy has received a comprehensive report from Jamaican Police and summons have been sent to potential jurors for a coroner's inquest in the murder of Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer, a local daily reported.

According to Jamaica Gleaner, the documents were forwarded on Thursday and besides statements by potential witnesses, it also contained the detail findings of government pathologist Dr Ere Seshiah, who conducted the post-mortem on Woolmer's body two days after the Englishman was found unconscious in his hotel room and was pronounced dead at the University hospital on March 18.

A coroner's inquest was ordered by Commissioner of Police Lucius Thomas last Friday.

The daily also said that now with the report in hand, summons have already been sent to potential jurors.
