The court on July 8 granted bail to Kejriwal on a personal bond of Rs 10, 000.

The court was hearing a defamation complaint filed by Bidhuri, who said Kejriwal made defamatory statements against him, terming him a criminal, in an interview to a private channel on July 17 last year.

Bidhuri told the court that Kejriwal’s statements had maligned him.

Bidhuri claimed that no case was pending against him.
