NEW DELHI: While the city residents on Sunday got some respite from continuous rains that led to waterlogging and traffic snarls, the weather department has forecast light showers on Monday.

The India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast said light rainfall was likely to continue in the next week in Delhi-NCR. Moderate rain, 2 to 6cm, is also likely to fall in the coming days.

Continuous rain had caused waterlogging on all major roads.

Meanwhile, taking preventive measures, the civic bodies have ordered the officials to be prepared for any situation on Monday.
