A Daewoo Matiz caught fire in Delhi Cantonment area on Sunday morning.
Police officials said that Subedar Venkat Raman of the Indian Army was going to a Church on Delhi-Gurgaon Road when he noticed smoke coming out of the bonnet.

He stopped his car on the side and called the police. By the time the police and fire department came in, his car had burnt completely.
Police said that prima facie, a short circuit in the engine seems to be the plausible cause of the fire. No case was registered till late on Sunday.
