Jamia alumni in hockey finals

Three alumni, Bharat Chikara, Danish Mujtaba and Tushar Khandekar, of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will be representing India in the final of the Hockey match of the Commonwealth Games on Thursday.

Three alumni, Bharat Chikara, Danish Mujtaba and Tushar Khandekar, of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will be representing India in the final of the Hockey match of the Commonwealth Games on Thursday.

The finals will be held between India and Australia. Chikara who plays as a mid-fielder graduated from JMI. Mujtaba, who also plays in the mid field position, studied for two years in Jamia, while Khandekar, who plays in the forward position, studied for a year at the institution.
