GSEB result 2018: Gujarat Board Class 10 result out, girls score better than boys

GSEB result 2018: While Surat scored the highest pass percentage of 80.06%, only 37.35% of the students from the tribal district of Dahod cleared the exam.

The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) declared the Class 10 result on Monday. Students can check the result on the Board’s official website: www.gseb.org

GSEB Class 10 result 2018: How to check

* Visit the Gujarat Board’s official website: gseb.org

* Enter your 7-digit seat number.

* Click on Go.

* View your result.

The pass percentage this year is 67.5%. The pass percentage in 2017 was 68.24%. Girls performed better than boys as 72.69% girls cleared the exam while the pass percentage of boys was 63.73%.

A total of 7.9 lakh regular students appeared for the examinations, held at 908 centres across 33 districts in March, out of which 5.3 lakh students have cleared the examination. The pass percentage of ‘private and external candidates’ was 6.94%.

Both the highest and lowest passing percentage districts are from south Gujarat. While Surat topped the chart with 80.06%, only 37.35% of the students from the tribal district of Dahod cleared the exam.

The marksheets of the SSC exams will be distributed from 11am to 2pm at the district examination centres.
