Gujarat minister Sanghvi - who holds over a dozen portfolios, including Home - will look to record a hat-trick of wins from Majura, which is in the BJP's stronghold of Surat. The district could prove key to rivals Aam Aadmi Party's hopes after it secured an impressive 28 per cent vote share there in last year's civic polls. Sanghvi won Majura in 2012 and 2017 after thumping Congress rivals each time; in 2012 he beat Jain Dhanpatraj by a massive 71,556 votes.
