Manipur Election: Tamenglong (ST) Assembly Constituency 2022

In the Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Tamenglong (ST) constituency had 3 candidates for assembly seat contention. Tamenglong (ST) was one of 21 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Samuel Jendai Kamei won the election by upstaging Naga Peoples Front's Janghemlung Panmei by a margin of 2,004 votes.

The top two candidates split 99.1% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Samuel Jendai Kamei got a total of 13,023 votes, while Naga Peoples Front's Janghemlung Panmei secured 11,019 votes. Indian National Congress's candidate Jangamlung Panmei secured 215 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 53.7%, 45.4% and 0.9% respectively.

In Manipur Assembly election 2012, Manipur State Congress Party's Janghemlung Panmei defeated Indian National Congress's Khangthuanang Panmei by 666 votes.
