96.9% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Indian National Congress's D. Korungthang grabbed a total of 16,940 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Yangkholet Haokip got 12,284 votes. Naga Peoples Front's candidate Khulpuwa Armstrong Charang bagged 11,015 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 40.8%, 29.6% and 26.5% respectively.
