Bhojpur is the assembly constituency which comes under the Farrukhabad district. It is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 for Bhojpur was held on February 20 and the result was declared on March 10.

In 2017, the Bhojpur assembly seat had 3,07,139 registered voters. Of the, 1,67,509 were male and 1,39,630 were female voters. 0.1% of votes were casted for NOTA.

What happened last time

In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Bhojpur constituency had 20 candidates for assembly seat contention. Bhojpur was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Nagendra Singh Rathore won the election by upstaging Samajwadi Party's Arshad Jamal Siddiqui by a margin of 34,877 votes.

95.1% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Nagendra Singh Rathore grabbed a total of 93,673 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Arshad Jamal Siddiqui got 58,796 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Nitin Singh Jaimini Rajput bagged 25,838 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 50.0%, 31.4% and 13.8% respectively.

In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Jamaluddin Siddiqui defeated Jan Kranti Party(Rashtrawadi)'s Mukesh Rajput by 18,629 votes.
