Five months after his wedding, Rajeev Khandelwal still gets turned on with a girl’s smile. “Girls make me feel special. I have not figured what they like the most about me but yes, a girl smiling at me makes my day,” says the 35-year-old actor who tied the knot with Manjiri Kamtikar in February.

Rajeev maintains that his life has not changed much after getting married. “Nothing has changed. I still send a lot of hugs and kisses to my female fans and friends and get loads and loads of mwahs and darlings and sweethearts in return. I am committed to someone but that is certainly not the reason for me to alter my equation with other women. I still enjoy girls looking at me and smiling,” says Rajeev, who won rave reviews for his character in his last release Shaitan.

He is titled as the king of off beat cinema due to his choice of roles in Aamir, Peter Gaya Kaam Se, Shaitan and now Soundtrack, but Rajeev doesn’t feel so. “I am no king of off-beat cinema. I am just trying to discover myself as an actor and it feels good when my work gets appreciated. I am happy to be a part of this changing phase of cinema."
