Last year, the who’s who of the film industry — from Amitabh Bachchan to Akshay Kumar — attended Asin’s grand birthday bash at a city hotel. This time, the actor’s plans are just as lavish, but they involve only her family and friends.
Asin, who turns 29 today (October 26), will celebrate the occasion in Paris. “It’s one of her favourite cities. And since ther birthday falls on a Sunday, she decided to take off for the weekend,” says a source close to her.
The actor wants to spend time with her near and dear ones, away from the media glare, so she has decided to take them along too. The source adds, “She hardly gets time to spend time with her parents and close friends, so she decided to fly them to Paris for the day.”
Asin, who was in New York, USA, for some work, joined her guests in the French capital on Friday (October 24). When contacted, she confirms, “This year it’s a low-key celebration. I love Paris. Who doesn’t? So I decided to take off to the city for my birthday weekend. Culture, history, great food and of course fashion… Paris is perfect.”
