Sandra Bullock has finally come out in the open since the news of her husband Jesse James' philandering ways became public.
Sandra has revealed to People magazine that she has filed for divorce and adopted a baby boy from Africa.
The Oscar winning actress had started the adoption process four years ago with her husband.
James has just returned home after a month-long stint in rehab and has been photographed without his wedding ring.
People also reported that the 3½-month-old infant, Louis Bardo became a part of Bullock's family in January from New Orleans, but Sandra wanted to keep him a secret until the awards season ended. She is now completing the adoption as a single parent.
"I'm sad and I am scared," Bullock says of her decision to divorce James, but her son has brought some joy back into her life: "He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way." She hopes Louis can experience "that father I have known Jesse to be" someday, and says she still plans to co-parent James' children. James, according to a statement, still hopes for a reconciliation.
Bullock was heartbroken and left her home after it became apparent that James had had affairs with at least four women.
