Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean has chosen to side with Dave Grohl in the feud between her mother and the ‘Nirvana’ drummer.
The 19-year-old broke her silence on Thursday on her rock-star mom’s twisted claims that the ‘Foo Fighters’ frontman hit on her daughter.
“While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn,” the New York Daily News quoted Kurt Cobain’s only offspring as tweeting.
“I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way.
“I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.
“Twitter should ban my mother,” she tweeted.
Grohl said on Wednesday “unfortunately, Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”
The 47-year-old said that Grohl’s denial was “bulls---,” saying she heard about the incident from “an old friend,” as well as Frances’ roommate.
She also said she was “certainly not going to retract anything.”
She did offer one back-handed compliment for the 43-year-old Grohl.
“Dave’s a piece of shit, but he’s a really good drummer,” Love said.
