Former porn star Jenna Jameson has been arrested for drunk driving after she crashed into a lamp post. The 38-year-old was collared after smashing her car into the pole in the City of Westminster in Orange County, California at 12.45 am.
She was detained on suspicion of driving under the influence after failing a field sobriety test carried out by officers on the scene, the Daily Mail reported. Officer Rachel Archambault said the pornography star, who is now retired, showed signs of intoxication at the scene, which is the reason the test was carried out.
Jameson, who lives in the Huntington Beach area, suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
According to TMZ.com, she was in tears after the accident, telling people, “I just want to go home.”
A woman made a call to 911 after she witnessed Jameson driving erratically before smashing her Range Rover into the lamppost. “I was actually getting ready to call you guys because she was drunk. Next thing I know she went into the pole,” she told the officer on the phone.
The caller asked Jameson if she needed paramedics, to which she replied, “No, I just want to go.” She is later be heard in the background saying, ‘I’m Jenna Jameson.’
Three officers later attended the scene, where she was arrested after failing the sobriety test. After her arrest she was booked at the Westminster City Jail and was later cited and released.
