Lindsay Lohan’s representative has denied reports of Courtney Love being the troubled star’s sobriety coach.
Lohan’s spokesman Steve Honig said that the 47-year-old singer Love is not the actress’ sober coach but just a supportive pal.
“Courtney Love is not, nor has she ever been, Lindsay’s sober coach. Lindsay is, however, grateful for her friendship,” Contactmusic quoted Honig as telling Eonline.com.
The front woman for Hole had revealed earlier that the ‘Mean Girls’ star had chosen her as her mentor to fight her battle with drugs and alcohol.
The rocker, who claims to have been sober since 2005, is adamant the 25-year-old star is “further down the line” in her personal drug battle than she ever was.
Love is determined to help the young actress beat her demons “because nobody else will.”
