Russian tennis champion Maria Sharapova has confirmed that she is dating Charlie Ebersol, son of the chairman of TV network NBC Sports.
According to the sun.co.uk, Sharapova, 21, had put herself on bid at a recent charity auction and jokingly said: "My boyfriend will outbid this price".

Sharapova is ranked sixth in the world by the Women's Tennis Association and has won three Grand Slam singles titles. Right now she is recovering from a shoulder injury.
An insider said: "During her forced break in training Sharapova got a new boyfriend."
