For many fans, the excitement around dancing to Falguni Pathak's biggest garba hits has been tempered by the cost of attending the event. While there are several ticket categories to choose from, the premium prices have left social media users questioning how much they are willing to spend on a Navratri celebration.

As per BookMyShow, the Phase 1 early-bird season pass for all nine nights was priced at 16,000 per person, while the Phase 2 season pass cost 18,000. The current season pass is priced at 20,000 per person. For those planning to attend just one night, Phase 1 single-day tickets started at 2,200, excluding taxes.

Netizens react to the steep prices

The ticket rates quickly became a talking point online after bookings opened. Several users expressed disbelief at the amount. Many took to the comments section on Instagram of the organiser to express their disappointment by saying, “I love Falguni Pathak and wait all year for Navratri just to attend her Garba shows. But choosing a venue like Jio Convention Centre makes it very difficult for many middle-class families to afford the experience. Navratri and Garba should bring people together, not make them feel excluded because of high costs. I hope future events will be planned with affordability in mind.”

Another Instagram user commented, “What mockery like always on book my show … the passes r bulk booked by event companies and will be sold to us in black where already the pass price is 16k to start with.” m

One user said, “Madam when you used to come to Borivali 30,000 people used to dance to your tunes, we don’t need JIO or any High end venue AC to enjoy your music during Navratri, all we need is your performance, your music and affordable passes so that everyone can afford and come to see your performing LIVE! If it’s 23,000 for 9 days how are we supposed to manage the parking, the pass cost & the food costs that comes along with it. Please consider your decision before signing up with any organiser- Honest request from your die hard fan.”

One Instagram user commented on Falguni Pathak's post and wrote, “Fallu, you've become so expensive! 😭😭😭.” Another one added, “Now, charging 23,000 for 365 days... they are really milking the pass for all it's worth... soon, they won't even offer a 9-day option... in the coming years... if they keep up this kind of daylight robbery.”
