Washington, Sept 7 (ANI): The Amy Winehouse Foundation will be launched on September 14, and the late singer’s family are now hoping to channel their grief into “positive action” by providing assistance to young addicts.
Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse, who has set up the charity in memory of the late singer, made the announcement on his Twitter page.
“The launch of Amy’s foundation 14th September. We will turn our grief into positive action.” Contactmusic quoted Mitch as writing on his twitter page.
Amy - who battled drink and drug addictions throughout her career - was found dead at her London home on July 23.
