Actors Manjima Mohan and Gautham Karthik are all set to marry on November 28 in an intimate ceremony in Chennai. Ahead of their wedding, Manjima and Gautham took to Instagram to share pictures from her pre-wedding photoshoot, where the to-be bride and groom looked smitten with each other. In the pictures, while Manjima wore a green ethnic Indian look, Gautham looked dapper in a matching kurta with white churidar pyjama. The couple simple added a green heart emoji to the caption of their Instagram post. Many fans dropped heart emojis on Manjima and Gautham’s loved-up photos that were clicked in an outdoor setting in Chennai as the two held hands and posed for the camera.
In a media interaction, the actors said that they’ve been in a relationship for about two years now, and were marrying soon with the wishes and permission of their parents. Manjima and Gautham had worked together in the 2019 Tamil film Devarattam, which was directed by Muthaiah. Gautham Karthik revealed that they didn’t fall in love while shooting for the film. However, it happened a year later.

After a year, I proposed to her and she took a couple of days to accept my proposal,” Gautham said. He further added that Manjima turned him into a man from a boy. “My dad used to say that when you find the right person, they make you a man, and that’s Manjima for me.” Manjima also said that she will continue acting post marriage and has no plans of quitting.
On October 31, the couple took to social media and made their relationship public with a romantic post. "What happens when the right person comes into your life? Most people would say that you would be filled with love the moment you set your eyes on them, your stomach will feel like there are butterflies flying around inside your heart would sing for joy etc... etc... @manjimamohan , our journey has been different for sure, lol. We started by always pranking each other, always bickering and arguing about the silliest of things. Even our friends couldn't stand our arguments."
