A source says, “As Vidya went up to collect her award, Abhishek and Riteish joked about her being pregnant. Ritesh said, ‘By the way, it’s very unfortunate that even before Siddharth, Sujoy (Ghosh) had got Vidya pregnant!’ The entire fraternity gathered at the do went still for a few seconds before bursting into laughter when they realised that Riteish was talking about Sujoy’s film Kahaani (2012).”

Vidya, however, took the joke sportingly. The source says, “Vidya gracefully replied saying, ‘I don’t know if I should be saying this but getting pregnant has always worked for me. It worked for me in Paa (2009) and then in Kahaani. Maybe this is a cue for you, Sid. But in real life… No! I am not pregnant.”
