Aroma wonders: There’s hardly a bride who doesn’t suffer from nervousness as her D-Day approaches. Aroma oils can do wonders for those battling with stress, hypertension and anxiety. Add a drop of lavender or basil oil into your bathing water to soothe tired nerves. A weekly body massage with sandalwood oil is also beneficial in relaxing the nerve nodes and toning up the tissues. If you are feeling low, a lemon grass oil candle or a diffuser can lift up your spirits. For a peaceful sleep at night, keep a cotton swab by the bedside dipped in jasmine or neroli oil.
Pre-bridal pampering: A soon-to-be bride should start getting facial and body treatments done at least 15-20 days before the marriage date. This would take care of skin disorders and tone up the body. Dead sea salt bath along with sauna helps clear the skin pores, throw out the deep-rooted skin impurities and vitalise the skin tissues.
Detoxify: For maximum detoxification, drink minimum 10 glasses of water daily. Intake of green vegetables, leafy salad and fresh juice should be increased to help flush out toxins .
A balanced diet: Support your diet with vitamins, minerals and fibres. This should help reduce blemishes , pigmentation, and dandruff.
