Comfort is style for Prachi Desai

Actor Prachi Desai comes across as a safe but smart dresser. The 24-year-old tells us that she doesn’t like going over the top and sticks to what she is comfortable in. “I don’t follow trends blindly but I do keep a tab on them. Style is comfort for me. I experiment to a certain extent but I should like what I’m wearing,” she says.

Having acted in films like Rock On!! (2008) and Bol Bachchan (2012), there’s no looking back for Prachi, who carved her way from a daily soap to Bollywood.

“Unfortunately, in our country, unlike in the west, we don’t have the culture where some of the biggest stars from TV are doing the biggest films. Our mediums are very vastly apart. So I have chosen Bollywood over TV,” she reasons.

She has some interesting projects like KS Ravikumar’s Policegiri and Vikram Bhatt’s third installment of 1920, in her kitty. The actor was recently spotted in the Capital at a Tata Sky event. “I love coming to Delhi. It’s a really happening city,” she signs off.
