Anarkalis are hot favourite this Diwali too. Designer Jaya Rathore says, “Anarkalis are in vogue again but with variations in length, flair, cut, embroidery and neck designs. Velvet applique, floral motifs and crystals are giving a welcome twist. Knee length anarkalis look chic with with fitted churidaars.”Tune in with Tunics

If you want to look ethnic yet contemporary, try a tunic paired with straight pants. Designer Monika Arora says, "This Diwali season, pair smart sequined tunics, especially toga styled ones, with interesting straight pants in georgette. The look is trendy and very comfortable."

Kurti connection
If you don’t want to go over the top, keep it simple and elegant with kurti and churidaar. Stylist Sneha Suri says, “Silk kurtis with subtle embroidery looks great, paired with fitted churidaar. Also, wear the dupatta in a stylish way, tie it around the neck like a scarf. Complete the look with gold loops and bangles.”
