Taking a look back at the weekend, there were a few major gown moments. Actor Hansika Motwani and Miss World Manushi Chhillar’s attention-grabbing looks definitely had us talking. While one was sublimely beautiful, the other packed more wow-factor than we ever thought possible.
Manushi makes stylish stir whenever she steps out, and on Saturday she shared a photo of her sparkly, ethereal gown that made all our jaws drop. Manushi picked a strapless rose gold Sonaakshi Raaj couture gown with tiered ruffles that extended from her knee to the floor.
Looking preened to perfection, she looked svelte in the skintight creation from the designer’s autumn/winter 2017 collection, which she wore with a peachy pink drop earring from Joolry By Karishma Mehra. She wore her hair in soft curls tousled on one side and plumped her pout with scarlet lipstick.

{{/usCountry}}We especially loved Manushi’s look as our obsession with rose gold is undying — the hue is too pretty to resist! If you’re looking for a dress for a big night out, consider picking a design in the blush metallic hue. It’s incredibly flattering on all skin tones.
The other gown we lost our mind over belonged to Tamil and Telugu films’ stunner, Hansika, who hopped on the thigh-high slip bandwagon with an ethereal off-shoulder MillaNova dress. Like Manushi, Hansika proved that a lady can look girlie, but be strong as hell in her ways.
Hansika flaunted her endless legs in this party-in-the-front pick. From the side and back the ivory gown exuded elegance, looking like something fit for a princess. But a frontal shot revealed a cheeky showstopping slit. It’s a simple design that manages to turns heads without being OTT (Over the top). Plus the off-the-shoulder design with a flattering sweetheart neckline is bang-on trend right now.
Styled by Rochelle D’sa for the launch of Colors Tamil on Friday, Hansika wore Essense jewellery, which introduced a flash of colour to the ensemble and then finished off with an fashion-forward spin thanks to her lace-up stilettos from Truffle Collection India. Super-glam wavy hair, dewy make-up and glossy lips finished off her high-wattage fashion look.
