Looking absolutely hot in a black velvet blazer over black shirt-pant, Arjun Rampal walked the ramp for designer Rohit Bal on the last day of the Delhi Couture Week 2011.

"It was wonderful. Rohit discovered me in a night club and taught me a lot about fashion. He gave me a great platform to start off with. Every time he thinks I'm looking fit and good, he asks me to do a show. I can never refuse him. It's always wonderful to work with him. It was a wonderful to come back to Delhi because that's where I started."
'Show stopper' was written in bold golden letters on Arjun's shirt which he flaunted by taking off his blazer. "Writing show stopper on my shirt was his idea. He came to my room this morning and asked if I would wear this shirt. I think it's really funny. Everybody comes as a show stopper knowing zero about fashion. We both understand fashion as we come from a fashion industry. So it was really funny," told Arjun.
The actor had to wear shades to look serious. "Rohit said I want you to wear shades because I know you are going to laugh. So you need to walk really seriously. But later while taking my shades off, I dropped them," he told.

"It was wonderful being in Delhi. I love Delhi with all my heart. Delhi taught me how to party and how to live life. For me, Delhi is very close to my heart."
"Thank you everybody for the love you have given me. People were throwing flowers at me. It was all fun. I also threw flowers at everyone. Fashion is fun. If you have fun with fashion, then you can be creative about it. This show was spectacular. He did a fantastic job. He's a genius," concluded the star.
Arjun ended the Couture Week on a delightful note.
Runway report
The collection was titled ‘Shanti.’ “It’s all about peace, ecstasy and feeling good from inside,” said Rohit.
It featured gowns, lehengas and overcoats with elaborate drapes. Different kinds of embroidery techniques were used. His signature style- floral motifs in interesting patterns were used. The colours ranged from white, golden, black, red, blue and purple. Designing was very detailed.
Hair was tied in a bun and glittery multicoloured bangles were used. The runway was dominated by Indian models.
Like Manish Malhotra, Rohit also showcased some men’s wear. It mainly comprised of sherwanis and overcoats in red, blue and black. Embroidered shoes were worn.
Piano symphony was used in the backdrop and lots of gajras were used to create a heavenly atmosphere.
