“Fashion is the politest way of talking about sex. Every single day of life, we talk about how good looking I am, how great my body is, how toned my arms are, how slim my waist is or how beautiful my back is. People dress to look hot all the time. It’s about finding themselves attractive and sexy. So ‘Kamasutra’ is a very good explanation to our day to day need to look and feel attractive all the time,” the designer told HT.

Runway report
The collection featured flowing skirts, metallic bikini tops, zardozi koti shrugs, chiffon stoles, sheer skirts, choli cut waistcoats, long sleeved blouses, kamarbandhs, heavy saris, embellished lehengas, shararas and anarkalis.

Colours varied from gray, black and nude to red, orange, fuschias, ivory, blue and pink.

Detailed embroidery, zardozi threadwork, mirrors, kundan and Swarovski elements were used.

Screw like accessory was used for headgears, waistbands and even as part of some garments. Pointed eye liner was used and hair was tied back in a bun.

Kamasutra, which inspired many art forms, has made its way to Indian fashion today.
