Sonakshi Sinha credits her weight loss to Pilates, which she’s been practicing with her trainer Namrata Purohit of The Pilates Studio in Mumbai. In a new exercise video, the Dabangg star looks super toned and fit.

Since her debut film Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha’s weight has been discussed more than her acting prowess. This kind of intense scrutiny on someone’s body (and not their talent) can unnerve the best of people. But Sonakshi never let the negative comments get to her.

And if her latest photos on Instagram are any proof, the actress is working towards getting fit and healthy. And she looks absolutely stunning. She’s been regularly practicing pilates with her trainer Namrata Purohit of The Pilates Studio. Sonakshi looks super toned with flat abs and a happy glow, which can only be the result of sustained efforts towards getting fit.

So who got the best selfie then?!? @namratapurohit @sanamratansi 😂

Recently, Sonakshi posted a video of working on the Core Stix, which helps sculpt and tone the body. It also works on the core by strengthening it and improving its function. The repeated actions can help with endurance and flexibility.

Sonakshi is a big believer in pilates and its wonders but also adds a few sessions of cardio to her workout routine. She often posts videos of working out with friends Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Sonakshi is fond of doing headstands, weight training and skipping outdoors. The fact that her routine is so doable makes it perfect. Even her diet is simple and involves ghar ka khana. “ I have oats with scrambled eggs for breakfast, and I have dal and a vegetable subzi with some gravy, fish or chicken for lunch. For dinner, I try to eliminate carbs. So it is a fairly basic diet that’s easy to follow. It’s doable, because I need something that is doable,” she said in an interview to HT.
