The six-member special investigation team (SIT) of the Mumbai police probing the case is camping in Gurgaon since May 30 and have already conducted searches at several places in the city.
The SIT has booked Gurgaon police crime branch officials Pradhuman Yadav, Vikram Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Deepak, Jitendra and three others including Gadoli’s girlfriend Divya Pahuja in the case.
“Now that the court has allowed us to arrest the accused, we might as well nab them,” an official of the SIT said.
While taking the SIT’s appeal for issuing non-bailable arrest warrants against the accused, the court gave the Mumbai police a go ahead to arrest the accused.
“The investigating officer has the liberty to take every possible step.. to arrest the accused,” additional chief metropolitan magistrate RK Deshpande said while delivering the order.
