If the cold air is creating problems, take a couple of puffs of your inhaler before going outside, according to a release of Asthma UK.

Keep your inhaler with you at all times, you never know when you might need it. Wrap up well and wear a scarf over your nose and mouth - this will help to warm up the air before you breathe it in.
