Female like breasts in men can be a constant cause of embarrassment and may prevent these men from changing in public.

Gynaecomastia refers to female like breasts in a male. Although there may be medical conditions behind the problem, majority is due to hormonal changes and breast growth that occur during the puberty and remains permanent. Plastic surgeons can use liposuction to relieve gynaecomastia, which effects 10-30% of the population.

Female like breasts in men can be a constant cause of embarrassment and may prevent these men from changing in public. The feelings of embarrassment and consciousness of appearance compounded by the hurling ridicules from the peer group can have a devastating effect on self-esteem and confidence.

Men with the condition have also been known to put on a lot of overall weight to disguise the large breasts as a part of obesity. Apart from the above-mentioned reasons there is also a medical reason to remove active breast glandular tissue as its occurrence does pose a certain risk of breast cancer.

Liposuction effectively removes the fatty tissue from under the breast and a small surgical incision is often required to remove the active breast tissue under the nipple. As the plastic surgeons cleverly place this incision within the rim of the nipple, the same is not visible.

Clearly the treatment offers huge benefits and a greater awareness in this regard amongst the afflicted men is needed, so that the only thing that soars on their chest is their confidence!
