A study has found that Botox injection helps cure a sexual disorder called vaginismus in women.

Women now have one more reason to get the skin firming Botox injections, after a new study has found that it is helps cure a sexual disorder called vaginismus.

According to The Telegraph, vaginismus is a condition that causes the muscles around the vagina to go into involuntary spasm, preventing women from having penetrative sex.

During the course of the study, scientists at Teheran University, Iran, injected 20 women suffering from the disease with Botox and found that it helped more than 80 percent of the women, since Botox works by paralysing muscles.

"Seventeen patients achieved satisfactory intercourse after the first injection. One was cured after the second injection," the researchers wrote in their study.
