The 44-year-old San Andreas star took to Instagram to reveal a shot from Fast 8 in chained cuffs and wearing a prison’s orange colour jumpsuit. “The Iceman cometh,” he captioned the photo with jailyard in background.

The snap was the most recent of sneak peeks that Johnson has shared. The director F Gary Gray, too, shared a picture from the sets.

Fast and Furious 8 is set to release next year on April 14. Franchise veterans Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson are joined by relative newcomers Kurt Russell, Jason Statham and Nathalie Emmanuel and debutant Scott Eastwood. Charlize Theron plays the new villain.
