Disney has officially confirmed that a sequel to their highest-grossing animated film of all time, Frozen (2013), is in development.
Frozen 2 was announced during the Mouse House's annual shareholders meeting, reported Ace Showbiz.

"We enjoyed making Frozen Fever (a short movie) so much and being back in that world with those characters," said Lasseter in a statement.
"Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we're taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that."
Frozen is also supported by Idina Menzel as Elsa and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. The movie collected $1.27 billion worldwide and won two Oscars for best animated film and best song for Let It Go.
