Man of Steel star Henry Cavill posted a close-up image of a black Superman uniform on Monday on Instagram.

Guess who is back in black.

Taking his lessons from Spiderman maybe, Superman will also don a black costume in the upcoming movie, Justice League (2017).

Man of Steel star Henry Cavill posted a close-up image of a black Superman uniform on Monday on Instagram.

Cavill’s high-flying superhero — spoiler alert — met his demise at the conclusion of the Zack Snyder directed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year.

The last son of Krypton was originally resurrected with a black suit after he was killed off in the comics in 1993.

Cavill wouldn’t be the first Superman actor to sport a black uniform. Superman Returns actor Brandon Routh and Lois & Clark co-star Dean Cain also donned dark versions of the traditionally blue, red and yellow ensemble.
