Actor Jamie Dornan is in negotiations to star in Robin Hood: Origins. If things work out, the Fifty Shades of Grey actor, will star as Will Scarlet, a fine-dressing but short-fused expert swordsman, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Production on Robin Hood, under the direction of Otto Bathurst, which also stars Taron Egerton as Robin Hood and Jamie Foxx starring as Little John, begins in Budapest in January.
The film — set in the Sherwood Forest — follows the titular hero as he returns from the Crusades and forms a band of outlaws to fight corruption. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson are producing through their Appian Way banner, reports Variety.
