Catholic News Service officials, Washington, are disappointed with the adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's bestselling travel memoir. According to them, Roberts has failed to seek spiritual guidance during the 'Eat' section of the movie, reports contactmusic.com.

A review of the film written by CNS' John Muldering reads, "Though she (Roberts' character) seemingly hits every restaurant in town, she gives the churches a pass, the implication being that she knows better than to look to Catholicism for insight."

"I'm definitely a practising Hindu," Roberts said earlier.
