Spiderman star Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer have decided to separate after nine years of marriage.
The two met in 2003 and are parents to 9-year-old daughter Ruby and 7-year-old son Otis reported People magazine.

“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship,” Maguire and Jennifer said in a joint statement.
The actor, 41, and the jewellery designer, 39, are based in California.
