Life In A Day
project — and that ‘day’ is today.
“Though I can’t really dictate terms, but even the idea of dabbling with so many creative pieces about life and humanity is amazing,” says Macdonalds, who sees this initiative as a “great step to new age film making”. “I’m expecting a downpour of so many emotions — love, fear, pleasure, disdain,” he adds. “Maybe, even what’s the last thing left in your pocket.”
Macdonalds is expecting anything “over 10,000” entries to compete for a space in the film. “It’ll be a rare combination,” he feels. “And this will a great opportunity for filmmakers who want to be seen and heard on a bigger platform,” adds Macdonalds, stating that this will also “bring up a positive side of Internet”.
And what about his thoughts on India when panning the camera? “India is one of those places where you can turn the camera anywhere and you have something great to capture,” says the Oscar winner. “With so many people, it’s confusing. But yet so fascinating and colourful.”
