Since director Ridley Scott launched trailers for his film Prometheus with teasers, this practice is catching on and may become a trend, with the latest sneak peek for Snow White and the Huntsman introduced by costar Chris Hemsworth (Thor).
The new footage highlights the Evil Queen's concern about the next in line as "the fairest in the land."
It features Charlize Theron (Young Adult) as the queen and The Twilight Saga's Kristen Stewart, as her replacement, Snow White, being hunted down.
A twist to this version of the classic fairy tale finds the hunter, played by Hemsworth, becoming Snow White's protector in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.
At the end, viewers are prompted to watch the full trailer during next Monday's television viewing of The Voice, the reality show with Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo and Maroon 5's Adam Levine, presumably the film's audience.
